In October of 2019 I was honored to receive the University of Missouri System President’s Award for Early Career Excellence. This award is given to one faculty member from the System in the social sciences annually. I am proud of the work I have done and look forward to continuing to produce scholarship that might help to improve the mathematics education of students.
